It's 5:38 PM and I just returned from Winchester, Virginia . . . . the nearest place where you have a choice of automobile dealerships all lined up in a couple of miles, Route 11 ie: Valley View Drive.  It's a 2 hour drive one way.

 

After reading the latest Consumer Reports, I decided on the 2013 Subaru Outback AWD SUV, pearl white, blue tooth, 30 mpg, 18 inch alloy wheels, rear back-up camera, combination 6 gear/automatic tranny ( new invention ) plus heated seats, moon roof,  push-button emergency brake, a system that is thief proof i.e., if you hot wire it some how, or start it without the  key, the automobile will malfunction in about 50 feet and just quit. etc., etc.

 

 

It's amazing the technology just gets better and better. Finally got rid of my 2007 Toyota Highlander SUV. It served me well.  It was a nice long-lasting car but it was time to move forward.
