Lawyers

Mr. Cohen, the defendant had struck a pedestrian with his car.  At the trial, Mr. Cohen's attorney rose and said, " I ask the court to dismiss these charges.  Look at my client's record: he's been driving for 30 years and has never gotten a speeding ticket !  The pedestrian was obviously in the wrong. "

The plaintiff's attorney rose and said, " Following that train of thought, the charges cannot possibly be dropped.  My client has never been hit by a car . . . and he's been walking for 60 years ! "

MAN, I LOVE LAWYERS . . . YOU CAN'T DO WITH THEM AND YOU CAN'T DO WITHOUT THEM.  MAYBE SHAKESPEARE WAS RIGHT, FIRST, SHOOT ALL OF THE LAWYERS.
