Today, November 10th, is the birthday of the United States Marines . . . Founded at Tun Tavern ( Yes, a barroom! ) in Philadelphia on1775 ( Yes, older than the United States ) . . .  sometimes called Leathernecks, Soldiers of the sea, Jarheads, Gyrenes, Sea-going bellhops . . . but always, they are the few, the proud . . . The United States Marines.

I am proud to have been a member of this elite warrior group. They ingrained life skills that stay with you for the rest of your life.
