This drawing appeared in The Law Journal around 2006, since then, like many magazines, have discontinued using cartoons. I think they were bought out by a large conglomerate and merged into something of a blob called Incisor.
Originally, the cartoon was a black and white, but I am just reselling it now to another market who buys reprints for use on the internet and they wanted it in color . . . along with several others which I am coloring right now . . .

" To find out what one is fitted to do
and to secure an opportunity to do it
is the key to happiness. "
- John Dewey, 1859-1952
AMERICAN EDUCATIONALIST, PHILOSOPHER AND REFORMER
( I lucked out on this one )

" What can be added to the happiness of
a man who has health, out of debt,
and has a clear conscience ?
- Adam Smith, 1723-1790
SCOTTISH ECONOMIST, PHILOSOPHER AND ESSAYIST
( LUCKY HERE, TOO !, KNOCK ON WOOD. )

I got a kick out of a bumper sticker I saw in the 60's . . . the car
was a ten-year-old Ford clunker being driven by a glassy-eyed Hippie . . .
the bumper sticker read:
" A CLEAR CONSCIENCE IS THE SIGN OF A BAD MEMORY. "
Two out of three ain't bad . . .
