Just sold this one yesterday to
The Saturday Evening Post.
It was my dream back in 1953, as I drooled over the great cartoons in the then large size magazine, The SATEVEPOST ( then almost 11"x14" in size) really great work by Ted Key, Harry Mace, Henry Syverson, Mort Drucker, people I totally admired,
and many more greats too many to mention here, I dreamed, but I also knew that If I stuck with it, If I kept my resolve, kept my eyes on the prize, I KNEW for sure back then that I too, would one day grace the pages of this great periodical, started by Benjamin Franklin.
Now the magazine has shrunken in size to about half of what it originally was. I just didn't really think it would take this long . . . I started selling there a little over 10 years ago . . . . man what a trip ! But I got here . . . . and It feels great.
Had to pass this on.

" Be careful what you think about. "
It might just happen. "
(- Forgot who said this. )

and my favorite of all . . .
" We become what we think about all day long. "
- Ralph Waldo Emerson.
All of these are as true as the day is 24 hours long.
The sooner you realize this the more careful you'll be with your precious time.
