This is the first report from " Bunny's Bash ", as it is commonly referred to . . . is an annual get-together of cartoonists . . . a whole lot of them from the Long Island area . . . the Bunny thing I understand evolved from a monthly meeting called " The Berndt Toast Gang " which meets or met once a month in some restaurant and eventually came to this great event.
I'd previously gone to a couple with Bob Weber Sr. and Gill Fox back a few years ago.
Didn't get to meet as many as I wanted to, but still had a great time with great libations and good food.
A group picture was taken and I will post it and others as soon as I get organized.
V. Gene Meyers is a veteran cartoonist with sales to many major publications and has been a Playboy regular for a long time.
Tom Stemmle is Chairman of The N.J. Chapter of The National Cartoonist's Society
It's always enjoyable to meet other cartoonists.
