Cartoon of the Day - Roy Delgado

" I've always liked gags about cannibals . . . you used to see a lot of them after the second world war in the various men's magazines, like Argosy, True, Stag, Saga, For Men Only, etc. . . .  but, like a lot of subjects, it became
hackneyed, worn out, cliche, and yes, to many, cornball . . . I STILL think it's a funny subject . . . maybe it's me.

Cartoonists like Clyde Lamb, John Gallager and Charles Dennis are just a few that did this genre well.  I guess it is gone for good . . . and I guess that's why I  probably had to stick one in here one more time . . . I'm doing it because I CAN.

" Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is to the bone. "

Dorothy Parker

Years ago, In 1955 while living in L.A. I tried to tell this to my only date with Marilyn Monroe, and needless to say, I was slapped.
