ironic, just heard this  in a song from an old

song by the great  Merle Haggard, who I
I last heard, is plucking his guitar
and crooning out his endless
tunes from his songbook . . . 

As I listened to this, in the background in my studio,
CNN is constantly showing on the tube :" CRISIS IN IRAQ "
and the words of his song ring in my ears . . . 

We need a George Washington, a George Patton and a Chesty Puller right about now in history . . .
